The link between peach and Guerlain may not be obvious, but nonetheless, it’s important. One of the house’s most celebrated scents, indeed the perfume many consider to be the greatest ever made, Mitsouko, famously opens with a peach note. Granted, the fruit doesn’t dominate proceedings and it soon becomes a supporting player to the famous chypre heart, but it is undeniably part of the Guerlain myth. So when the house decides to turn to peach for the new addition to their L’Art Et La Matiere range, it’s time to pay attention.
